ARY Network, Bahria Town to ensure Pakistan's participation in Asian Games

ARY Network and Bahria Town have joined hands to resolve hockey-related issues in Pakistan and are working to make sure Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming Asian Games (or known as Asiad).

Pakistan’s hockey players threatened to boycott Asian Games due to non-payment of daily allowances from Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) for the past six months.

ARY Network and Bahria Town have stepped up for the revival of the game in Pakistan as a part of their ‘Ao mil ker banayen Pakistan‘ movement.

Players had stated earlier that how can they perform at big stages with empty pockets, they cannot focus on their game when they are not getting paid for their services.

ARY Network has always worked for the betterment of sports in Pakistan, be it cricket, boxing or hockey.

They have worked to discover hidden talent in the country, especially the underprivileged sportsmen.

Similarly, Bahria Town has also strived to promote sporting activities in the country by sponsoring sporting events in the country.

Asian Games will take place in Jakarta from August 18 to September 2.
