The final day of the group stage matches of inaugural edition of Pakistan Super League saw the Australian coming to the party as both the matches included significant contributions from the former Australian batsman Brad Hodge and wicketkeeper batsman Brad Haddin.
Hodge played a magnificent innings for the Peshawar Zalmi side in their match against Karachi Kings. He scored 85 runs off 45 balls which included six towering sixes and the same amount of fours. His knock meant that the Zalmi’s easily crossed the finishing line and with time to spare. He totally bludgeoned the Karachi Kings bowling attack during the match as he smacked the ball to all parts of the ground.
Meanwhile in the second match Brad Haddin played a match winning knock as well. He scored 54 runs off 42 balls which included 5 fours and 2 sixes. His knock was important as he took the United side over the line in this crucial match, much to the delight of the Karachi Kings fans, over the Lahore Qalandars.
