Fakhar Zaman dedicates his award to APS victims

Pakistan’s flamboyant opening batsman, Fakhar Zaman dedicated his outstanding performance award to Army Public School victims.

The man, who created history by scoring 1,000 ODI runs in 18 innings and scoring first double-century for Pakistan in the format, called these children ‘the real heroes’.

“I dedicate this award to children who got injured in this [APS] terrorist attack,” Fakhar Zaman said. “They are our real heroes, while we just play to enjoy,” he added.

“I dedicate my award of [outstanding] award of the year to those children,” he went on to say.

The 28-year old opening batsman told that he will not take that award to his home, rather he will give it to the victims of APS Peshawar.

“I will not take this award home, I will personally take it to APS Peshawar and will dedicate it to them,” he mentioned.

Terrorists attacked APS Peshawar od December 16, 2014, where they martyred 132 children and left numerous children injured.
