Pakistan out of quater-finals in Men's Squash Championship

Pakistani players could not even make into the quarterfinals of the International Men’s Open Championship that had a reward prize of $50,000.

On the other hand, Chief of Air Staff International Women Championship concluded the quarterfinal round on Wednesday.

Pakistan open tournament is undergoing at Mushif squash complex Islamabad, where Pakistani player, Farhan Zaman in the second round against the Egyptian player Mouzin Hasham by 3-0, whereas, another Pakistani player Ahsan Ayaz suffered a defeat against Egypt’s Zahid Muhammad by 3-1.

Event’s top player Saes Marvan Alshorbagi won against a Malaysian player Huraif Muhammad Sayafik by 0-3 and qualified for quarterfinals. On the other hand, Malaysia’s Aeng Pao and Hong Kong’s Max Li have also been qualified for quarterfinals.

The Hong Kong, Australian and  Malaysian players have qualified for semi-finals in Air staff’s international women squash tournament.

Egyptian player Rawan Aelarebi defeated her own country’s player and qualified for semifinals.

Event’s semifinals will be held on Thursday.
