Sindh’s emerging sprinter breaks his own record


KARACHI: Sindh’s emerging sprinter Moeed Baloch becomes the fastest athlete of Quaid-e-Azam inter-Provincial Games.

In the second edition of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games, Moeed won the gold medal in 100m race.

Moeed was crowned champion of the 100m sprint by clocking 10.92 seconds. The sprinter breaks his own record of 11.07 seconds in 100m which he made earlier in the first edition of Quaid-e-Azam games.

However, the World record of 100m race is 9.58 seconds which was run by Jamaican superstar Usain Bolt.

Moeed will now try his luck tomorrow in 200m race, he also won a gold medal in the 200m race by clocking 22.17 in the first Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games.

The Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Provincial Games-2017 commenced on Monday with a colorful pageantry at the Liaquat Gymnasium of Pakistan Sports Complex.
